The Federal Government announced this month that they are working to ensure that COVID tests supplied by employers will be tax deductible for testing undertaken to attend work.

This will mean Fringe Benefits Tax will not be incurred by employers who provide COVID tests to their employees who are required to test, before attending work. Details of this are yet to be finalised. In the meantime, make sure you keep records of these expenses.
